New House – Howdens Joinery Kitchen

So we bought a house, our first house actually and it’s a new build so we got to pick the kitchen!  The developers use Howdens Joinery to supply their kitchens so we had an invite to go and visit one of their design consultants and pick our kitchen.

We’d been given a Howdens catalogue to have a look through and we marked a few colours/designs we liked, we also knew what we were supplying in terms of white goods so it helped to plan it out.

Dacia Stepway to Renault Kadjar

It was going to happen one day, the Stepway was going to go – not because it’s a bad car but because it was no longer suitable for my needs.

The main reason? It was a manual gearbox. For years I said I would never own an automatic and until now I never have, but due to the arthritis in my knee, the constant gear changing of a rush hour drive to and from work meant I was getting home in pain.

Mothers Day Meal – Coach & Horses at Llangynidr

It’s Mother’s Day (well it is today, Sunday 11th March 2018) so today we’ve done nothing for our Mothers.

Last night however was different, we took both Mothers (so that’s Mother and Mother-in-Law or from the other side of the coin, Mother-in-Law and Mother) out for a meal in our favourite local(ish) pub – The Coach and Horses in Llangynidr.
