One thing I will say is this year has been hot, ridiculously hot and I am so glad this heat wasn’t present at our wedding 2 years ago as that would have been too uncomfortable for all!

New House – Howdens Joinery Kitchen

So we bought a house, our first house actually and it’s a new build so we got to pick the kitchen!  The developers use Howdens Joinery to supply their kitchens so we had an invite to go and visit one of their design consultants and pick our kitchen.

We’d been given a Howdens catalogue to have a look through and we marked a few colours/designs we liked, we also knew what we were supplying in terms of white goods so it helped to plan it out.

It’s been a while…..

A couple of months since my last post, but in my defence it’s been a very busy couple of months what with the new house.

I’m a cross between Shrek and a Yeti – my facial hair grows quicker than Tim Allen’s in ‘The Santa Clause’ – I shave, turn around and it’s back!  But that’s not my main problem, shaving irritates my skin, not just a little but a huge amount.

Dry or wet shaving, doesn’t matter, I’ve tried lots of razors and lots of lotions/gels/foams and the same thing happens, red blotchy skin and then it dries out and flakes like’s no-ones business.

I had an offer from 3 (the mobile network) from a free razor from Gruum, so I thought I’d give it a go.
